Jen Lewin

Jen Lewin grew up in Up Country Maui, Hawaii where vegetables came from the garden, eggs from the chicken coop, and bread was baked by the neighbor down the road. Dinner was an experience of sitting with family and friends around a large table, enjoying fresh food and connecting with community.

Jen’s early experiences with food and community inspired an architectural and interior design style that focuses on creating community gathering spaces. Jen’s vision and design is infused throughout every element of The Kitchen restaurants, from the Community Table to her handmade chandeliers and custom-designed lighting as well as the creation of The Kitchen brand and visual identity.
