Community Through Food Means…
“Growing up food meant love, family and friendship. When I moved to Colorado and started hostessing at The Kitchen, I realized that a lot of people focused on the environmental origins of food. At The Kitchen, I believe that the quality of what we bring to the table is enhanced by something extra. We do what families do: we nurture relationships. Today, when I’m asked what ‘community through food’ means to me, I think of our relationships with guests, purveyors and staff.”
